Outdoor Arena Hire
Our brand new arena is silica sand and fibre mixed surface which provides the perfect footing for the horses. It is complete with a brand new set of show jumps and has been completed to a very high standard, it is a stunning addition to the show jumping yard and to our site.

Training
Based on the yard is international show jumper Sophie Hillier she has experience jumping up to 1.40 Grand Prixs and has produced many young horses from unbroken 3yrs right up the levels including qualifying them for World Championships.
Sophie is now offering her wealth of knowledge to those who want to improve their jumping or just build up confidence with their horse or pony. All abilities are welcome, to find out more please get in contact.

Hacking
We are set in the beautiful Lancashire countryside looking out on to Pendle Hill. We have extensive hacking routes from the yard allowing you to be out for hours if you wished.
There are endless on and off road hacking routes, with no main roads to contest with.
MoorsA 15 minute ride will get you to the moors where their are extensive off road bridle paths that go for miles.
thursden valleyAn off road hacking route set in a stunning wood with the option of a canter.
Crawshaw laneIs great 45 minute hack involving some off road hacking and hill work.
Road workEnjoy endless hacking on quite country lanes with lots of hills to build up fitness.

We pride ourselves on horses being happy and settled here at Stoney Raikes as all stables are open plan so the horses can see what’s going on.
We have over 30 acres of grazing land which is all post and rail fenced with horses having access to this all year round.
Ive been on Stoneyraikes for 6 years and it’s a very friendly yard and the yard owners are very helpful and knowledgeable and have helped me loads with my horses, the facilities are amazing and Sophie provides really good lessons and has helped me sort my horses behaviour out, I would recommend to anyone.

The best yard for miles. I have lost count of the amount of years I have been on this yard but I genuinely couldn’t see myself or my horses anywhere else. Everyone on the yard is so friendly and will do anything for anyone. The facilities are to die for with a massive new outdoor arena. Good indoor arena and a new gallop track. I have been stabled here for over 10 years now and would not have my horses anywhere else! The facilities are amazing, especially the new arena that is currently being worked on and all the new jumps too!🤩 There is also an amazing gallop track that has recently been added and is absolutely amazing it is great to give your horse a good run to burn off some steam! Everyone is so friendly, the horses are so well looked after and never any problems at all. The fields are great and very large! I would 100% highly recommend Stoney Raikes!

I moved to Stoneyraikes in 2019, everyone has been so welcoming and friendly. The facilities are great, having an indoor is a godsend and the new outdoor arena is set to be fantastic. Everyone looks out for each others horses and it’s a lovely community. The hacking is good, with access to the Pennine Bridleway, and Happa is within walking distance for clinics and unaffiliated dressage competitions.
